Hello,
I am a career Firefighter/EMT-Paramedic with 24yrs on the job. I came to this forum from the Triumph Six Pack Club, on that end I have a '74 TR6. Photography wise, I had a part time/full time studio for about fifteen years,I tried to do both fire and photography for five years but finally had to give the photography up. I used a Mamiya 645 Super and later a Pentax 645(still have the Pentax). Currently I am still old school digital with a Canon EOS 1D. It takes great pics and is bullet proof, great for pics at nearby Watkins Glen and my sons ice hockey games.
I'm still new to all the editing stuff and will probably be asking lots of questions on that topic. Probably to get started I could use some suggestions for a good software program. I liked the Zoom browser program on a previous computer, but was unable to transfer to my current computer.
Thanks for saying hello. John Mack

Hi John,
Looks like Zoom is a photo organizer, is that what you're look ing for? Canon has "Digital Photo Professional" which should be a free download, even for your older camera. It is for editing raw format files, but it may do some organizing tasks too. Here is a link to Canon's program. Digital photo pro

Greg,
Thanks for the link, I will take a look at it as soon as I get home. I did like the ease and ability of Zoom for grouping and organization. John
