So is this what they mean by "March Madness"?

I mean, Thursday it was 74F, and Saturday it was snowing.

I let the cats out to see their reaction. Both thought it was curious, but neither tried to set foot in it. I can't say I blame them either.

The cats are smart! Johnny Hart (B.C. comics author) once penned a panel wherein one character declared snow to be just "fat rain".

Can't say I miss the snow. Driving from Van Nuys (95 degrees) to Santa Monica (66 degrees) yesterday afternoon in a half hour time span. Then the fog rolled in and brought the temps down into the 50's

Here in New Mexico we get a couple of good dumps a year, but not so much that it makes me want to move. The countryside around our house is beautiful after a good snowfall.

Yeah, I won't move either. Had snow twice here: dusted in 1977 and once about a decade ago. Both times it managed to hang for about an hour. Not missing it at all. We are having unseasonably cold weather just now, though. tail-end effect of that storm up north. We should be in T-shirts, shorts 'n flip-flops by now. Instead, I'm sittin' in a hooded sweatshirt over a turtleneck, long pants and shoes 'n socks. Despicable weather! 43°F!!

I had 2 good days outside this week, but it keeps bouncing back into the "i don't wanna" temps after a couple of days. I suppose this is just going to keep happening for a couple more weeks. The Farmer's Almanac lists the last frost date as the first week of April...

Also, those turkey I nabbed pictures of a couple of weeks ago, seem to have multiplied. I had only ever seen a group of 4 of them for the longest, and then last night there were 7...
