Samy's PhotoCon

Surprisingly big show today. Samy's is about the only surviving camera store in Los Angeles. All the camera brands had booths. Lighting, grip equipment, tripods, drones. Canon had a really impressive area.

In the first attempt you left off the .jpg. If was in LA I'd definitely try to check that out! Looks like a great time! Anything really cool on display you can share?

I go to two branches of Samy's a fair amount, so I've been seeing pretty much everything they had at the show for a while. The discounts weren't that huge. I went mostly to look at soft boxes and was fairly disappointed. Chimeras were more than 10 times what I paid for a comparable sized box. Quality was not 10 greater either.

Is portability a concern, Greg?

It is, so smallish and light weight are goals of mine at the moment.
