Anyone else hoping to photograph the Solar Eclipse in August? I am seriously considering a trip to Wyoming to locate myself in the path of totality. I have a sister who lives in Cheyenne, so this would be an excuse to visit.
Oh, by the way DO NOT try to use a make-shift filter, or stake ND filters - those are only designed to filter visible light. Get a proper Solar filter made especially for the task! Here is one source: Solar Filters

I will be using the 95mm threaded version on my Sigma 150-600 telephoto lens (the lens I'm using in my current avatar picture).

Yup. I live about an hour from the path of totality in Tennessee. I plan to take the day off so I can go capture it. I'll probably use the 100-300mm (200-600mm full frame equivalent) I recently acquired.
