The images are perfectly acceptable for the size and format of the book.


Don't get me wrong, today's iPhones take very nice images within certain limitations. But you are not going to have the same level of creative possibilities with a camera that has a 1/4 " lens and a very tiny sensor compared to what you can do with a DLSR and a very good piece of professional glass. Try doing this with an iPhone.
